All grade 10 Students and military-interested grade 11 and12 students take the ASVAB.
ASVAB results are used to help all students in planning for their future job and career opportunities regardless of military interest.
The ASVAB score is also used by some students to meet the State graduation pathway instead of Keystone proficiency.
Additionally, the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple choice test, administered by the United States Military Entrance Processing Command, used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces for interested individuals.
The ASVAB is administered for the first time in October of each year followed by additional testing dates likely in the winter and spring of that same school year.
